Why Implementations Fail — and What a Partner Is For

Most failed ERP projects do not fail on software. They fail because the system was configured before the process was decided: approval chains nobody follows, item masters imported dirty, reports nobody reads. A partner's job is to make the operating decisions first (what the order-to-cash flow should be, who approves what, which numbers management reviews weekly) and then configure Odoo to enforce them.

Weeks one and two: we map your current flows and lock the target process. Weeks three through eight: configure, migrate master data, and connect the systems that stay. Weeks nine through twelve: train your team, run in parallel, and go live. Core implementations are typically live in about 90 days; manufacturing and heavy integrations extend that.

What the Fixed $25,000 Scope Includes — and What It Doesn't

"Fixed scope" only means something if you can see the boundary. Every core implementation includes:

• Process design: order-to-cash and procure-to-pay flows mapped and locked before configuration starts.
• Configuration of sales, inventory and purchasing, and accounting: US chart of accounts, bank feeds, invoicing.
• Data migration: customers, vendors, items, chart of accounts, open receivables and payables, opening balances.
• Training and go-live: role-based training, a parallel run, and support through your first month-end close.

Priced separately, in writing, before we start:

• Integrations. A pre-built connector (Shopify, payments, shipping, 3PL) typically adds $3,000–$6,000; complex or legacy integrations run well beyond that and are quoted individually. A single complex integration can be half the size of a core build, which is exactly why it never hides inside a "fixed" price.
• Additional modules: manufacturing, e-commerce, field service, and helpdesk are scoped as add-ons with their own numbers.
• Custom development beyond standard workflows, rare by design: we adopt standard Odoo first and customize only what differentiates you.
• Odoo licenses and hosting: billed by Odoo directly at list price; we don't mark them up.
